About Armored Justice
Armored Justice (A) 25 man raiding guild. Guild level 25.
Raid Times (server time):
- Wednesday 7:30 - 11:00 pm
- Sunday 7:00 - 11:00 pm
- Monday 7:30 - 11:00 pm
About Us:
Armored Justice has been an active guild for 7 years, raiding since Vanilla. We are a tight knit group who pride themselves in pushing raid content with every expansion pack. We have a no drama policy to keep the guild environment fun and adult oriented, for this reason we also look for personality fits within the guild (No tolerance of Dbags, Drama Queens, or those just seeking purplz). AJ has been fortunate to have a great group of mature, intelligent, and fun members for its raiding core. Since many of our members have been here since Vanilla, we always look for members who would like to make this their home for the long term not just the current tier. We always target the Journey - and the journey for Cataclysm ends with Deathwing. We followed this successfully in both Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King (finishing 11/12 Heroic ++). We finished out the first Cata raids at 5/13 Heroic - having cleared all content in 25 man mode. Our current standing is 8/8 normal 2/8 Heroic in Dragonsoul
What we're looking for:
Due to our 3 night a week raid schedule we look for players willing to go the extra mile to ensure guild success in all aspects. We expect everyone to come prepared for raids with flasks, potions, food buffs, fully repaired, and current enchants. We expect our lowest raiding rank to maintain at least a 2/3+ per week attendance record. We place greater emphasis on skill than gear; so come prepared to perform your best and have good knowledge of your class. If you cannot follow the basic WoW rules (glowing fire on the floor is usually bad), follow directions, or take criticism then we are not the place for you.
What we offer:
As you progress through raiding ranks in the guild - raiding perks become available (priority raid slots, guild repairs, bank tab access, enchant mats, etc). On progression fights we provide flasks via Guild Cauldrons and enable guild repairs for applicable ranks. We are a level 25 guild and have access to all in game guild perks. We also run alt 10m raids as well as older content for misc achievements that members are looking to obtain.

Questions
- What is your character name?
- How did you hear about Armored Justice?
- What is your character Race / Class / Level / Main Spec / Off Spec
- Describe your past experiences within raiding guilds. What did you like about them? What did you dislike? Tell us why you're leaving your current guild.
- Are you able to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time? Some people can dps very well if they can stand still and focus only on that. Others can move very well within the confines of a boss mechanic but can't handle healing, dispelling, or dealing damage while on the move. How would you classify your strengths in this regard?
- Describe your past raid experience. Be as specific as possible, including past expansions and vanilla. Include any specific job or special responsibility you had experience with. Example: "I was the dedicated orb soaker on heroic valkyr twins" "I was always assigned to be the main tank healer cause I'm just that good at it." "I was always master looter because I handled it quickly and efficiently."
- What performance based mods do you use or recommend? Not counting obvious choices like DBM are there any you swear by that help you get your job done in the best way possible? Or do you prefer to play "old school" with a default UI?
- We run a full roster of 28+ raiders. On any given night there may be 3-4 people waiting in the wings to swap in based on fight mechanics, individual performance on a boss, or loot needs. Joining a fully staffed raid requires some flexibility by the new players and an understanding that they may be needed to sit out certain fights. By that same token keep in mind that exceptional performance is also rewarded. Does this sound reasonable to you? If not, how so ?
- Classes in WoW are constantly being rebalanced, and as such flexibility in ones spec of choice or optimal rotation is needed. Players expecting to raid progression content need to stay informed. To that end, what resources- in game and/or out- do you use to stay on top of your game?
- We'd be considered a 'casual' raiding guild based on our schedule (3 days a week, 11 hours total) but when raiding we're not looking to waste any time. Performance is measured, and done so on an individual basis. Criticism is 'old school': harsh and demanding. Would you consider yourself able to cope in that sort of environment? Note: if being told flat out that you're sucking or playing like a mongoloid is anathema to you, it's best that you do not apply to this guild.
- Our normal end-game raids are: Monday & Wednesday at 7:30PM, Sunday at 7:00 PM. We expect 2/3++ attendance. If you're applying for a Raiding position, is this within your schedule? Are there any days you would not be able to make?
- Our raiding ranks of Fist and higher require an authenticator to be attached to your account. Do you understand that if you do not have an autenticator you cannot be promoted past the raid rank of Hand?
- Armored Justice uses a modified Minimum Bid DKP System for loot in closed/guild organized 10/25-man Raid events. This has proved highly successful for us. Are you comfortable with this?
- We use Teamspeak- not Ventrillo- for voice communication. Would you consider yourself a vocal person who can get a word in when necessary? This isn't to say that you need to talk at all times but at least be able to alert someone when you've DC'd mid fight or died unexpectedly.
- If you gquit in an amusing/emo-worthy manner it's our tradition to 'honor' you by modifying our teamspeak password. This is a virtual epitaph. As such, please define your own Teamspeak-tombstone (20chars or less). Be creative.
- Finally, why would you recommend yourself over another applicant?
