Less than one day had passed since we downed Professor Putricide. Less than one day had passed since we had left Valrithria Dreamwalker with less then 1%, less then 500k, health remaining from her salvation, and our victory.

It was Monday; however, and that was a new day (certainly not our magical day of Sunday)- AND we certainly had been close on Professor Putricide over a raid or two and left him hanging (before finally dropping him yesterday).

But we were confident. Our healers were comfortable. Our DPS was acclimated. Our tanks were ready.

And, frankly, compared to the DPS/Heal test of the Blood Queen, or the Raid movement/switching test of Professor Putricide, we were confident and optimistic and hopeful.

She represented, after all, our 10th foray into Ice Crown Citadel. After her lay Sindragosa, and the Lich King, Arthas. Valrithria's presence represented the last 'loot-pinata' boss of the instance. A justifiable psuedo-break after a few weeks pressing through 2 tough end-wing bosses.

And...

Our first attempt was just short of horrendous. Our healers were a bit of kilter, our DPS was bit off priority. And we wiped.

We reiterated our heal priorities. We restated and clarified our DPS targets (Abominations are lowest. Kill the suppressors. Lockdown and take out the Risen Archmages).
Engage.



And Tondodino and Bentley. And Kadelna and Violetangel. These are the direct saviors of Valrithria Dreamwalker.

They had assistance- in the form of tanking by Mythran and Valthorin. And lockdowns by Glasshadow, Smokinpeels, Teronsoul and Dizfigure. And lights out DPS from a bevy of attendees- from Cutrock, Stara and Wulf; to Accendere, Flanger and Disnetgrate; to Hooker, Goregasm and Fitzey and Xevas- and all of them caressed by the gentle bubbles of Magron.

Ten bosses down now. Two to go in ICC-25 proper.

But for now, in this post, let's focus on our congratulations to all the winners including:
